Hallmarks of absurdity II…

The King is dead. Long live the King… same as the old one.

Barak Obama has, for all intents and purposes, de facto shared the presidency, if not all together handed it over, to Bill Clinton.

This is presumably the most powerful man in the world and ostensibly the most informed person in the world that has willingly and, I might add, dangerously admitted and confirmed that he is no longer in control of policy in the most powerful nation in the world.

Hat tip to Karl Denninger of the Market Ticker:

The fact that Obama should allow Bill Clinton to speak is not so bad in itself. But walking out of this formal political event and leaving the former president to conduct the conference by himself can rightly be interpreted as admission to being … unfit for the job… ???
