Sweden says no to saving Saab

There is plenty of good common sense around the world. The problem is that nobody seems to have any in the places where it counts most.

Give the Swedes a round of applause. Then, write, email and call your political representatives and tell them to stop squandering your money and to let bankrupt companies fail. Then, if you really want to push the boat out, go out and buy some gold bullion. Buying gold is the closest thing to a bloodless coup you can effect as an individual. Buying bullion sends a loud and clear message to the authorities which says that not only do you distrust the monetary system but you also disagree with the policy of privatizing profit and socializing losses.
